We’re a one-stop shop for emergency repairs, detailed estimates and repairs for residential sales transactions, remodels, and general construction. Locally owned and family operated, Real Estate Repair Pros was established in 2018 to provide home improvement services in our Central Oregon community.

CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT
Our construction worker performs a variety of tasks during all phases of construction. We’re looking for a reliable construction worker with a great attitude to join our team on various sites. Real Estate Repair Pros is committed to positive customer relationships and we’re looking for someone to grow both independently and with our team. Great position to gain construction experience, and for someone looking to develop in the industry and obtain a license.
LOCATION(S)
- Residential addresses, including Bend, Sunriver, and Tumalo
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under licensed general contractor(s) direction, carry out tasks to bring construction plan to life
- Assist sub-contractor(s) and tradesmen as needed
- Follow instructions provided by supervisor
- Adhere to safety guidelines at job sites
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
- Load, unload and distribute tool and building materials and equipment such as lumber, tile, saws, sheetrock, grout, etc.
- Operate hand and power tools and equipment
- Assist in building, installation and demolition of construction project such as sheds and decks
- Keep job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements
- Maintain clear communication with supervisor as well as homeowners at job sites
- Working conditions and responsibilities vary based on the project
- Varying tasks may include dig trenches, backfill holes, compact earth, construct sheds, painting/staining, and other duties.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to follow verbal instructions from general contractor/supervisor
- Able to perform general labor and construction
- Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting heavy items
- Works well independently and with a team
- Ability to perform repetitive actions using your hands, arms, legs, or other body parts
- Commitment to wearing protective safety gear for heat, noise, and prevention of injury on the job site
- Dependable transportation
- Short-term on-the-job training
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
WORK HOURS
- Temporary part-time position with opportunities for full-time position
- 20+ hours. 8am-5pm. May plan for flexible hours dependent on project schedule
- Part to full shift, up to 8 hours
